You Will Make It
Some of Us Have Been Through Horrific Things. Yet God Still Has the Final Word.
For Anyone Carrying More Than They Were Meant to Carry Alone
Soon we will celebrate two months together here at Love You, Alia, and I am grateful for every reader who has joined this journey. Some of us have experienced things we never imagined. Heartbreak. Illness. Loss. Rejection. Seasons that tested our faith and left us searching for answers.
Yet through it all, there is a God who saves.
Happy Sunday to everyone!
Let me share something I have learned about the power of prayer.
The closer you draw to God, the closer He draws to you.
One of my favorite scriptures reminds us:
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.”
— Proverbs 3:5–6
Those words may sound simple, but they have carried me through some of the most difficult seasons of my life. Prayer has been a source of strength when I felt weak, peace when I felt overwhelmed, and direction when I could not see the path ahead.
When you pray, you are not speaking into empty space. You are inviting God into your circumstances. You are making room for wisdom where confusion exists, hope where discouragement has settled, and peace where anxiety has tried to take root.
Prayer may not always change your circumstances immediately, but it will change how you walk through them.
You can ask God anything.
Ask Him to direct your steps.
Ask Him to heal your heart.
Ask Him to strengthen your body.
Ask Him to renew your mind.
Ask Him to reveal solutions when no one else seems to have answers.
Prayer does not remove our responsibility to grow, heal, and do the work required to move forward. Instead, it equips us for the journey. It reminds us that we are never walking alone.
Be available for God to move you in the direction that best serves your life. Allow Him to strengthen you, refine you, and prepare you for what lies ahead.
Mental wholeness and spiritual wellness are your portion.
My challenge to every reader today is simple:
Give prayer a chance.
Spend a few quiet moments with God. Open His Word. Sit in the stillness. Listen.
I believe you will find strength for whatever challenge comes your way.
And if there is one message, I hope you carry with you today, it is this:
You will make it.
Join Me Live Tonight
I will be live tonight, Sunday, June 7, at 6:00 PM EST.
The chat is open to everyone, and I would love to see you there. We will spend time encouraging one another, reflecting on faith, and reminding ourselves that our story is not over.
If you ever need prayer, know that I am always willing to pray with and for you. Being a prayer warrior is one of the greatest callings on my life, and I carry a genuine heart for people.
Enjoy your beautiful Sunday.
And if there is one message I hope you carry with you into this week, it is this:
You will make it.
With love,
Alia

What a beautiful, beautiful proverb.
And what an uplifting piece.
I truly believe faith and God have carried me through and out of the darkest valleys and seasons of my life. I’m so glad you wrote about this because I wish more people knew how absolutely magical it is to see God in everything, even when things get hard.
I once read “I can go through this alone, but i rather go through this with God” - and oh my isn’t that true!
Also, to add to your fav proverbs list, here’s Mine has been (for maybe 10 yrs now):
“Joy comes from a deep seated trust that God is in control of everything that concerns you, may you walk through your day knowing every need you have is met in full.”
God bless,
Grecia 🤍
Thank you for sharing this, Alia. What I appreciate most about your writing is that it never promises an easy road or instant answers. Instead, it offers something far more comforting: the reminder that we do not have to walk through life's hardest seasons alone.
The line that stayed with me was, "Prayer may not always change your circumstances immediately, but it will change how you walk through them." There is so much wisdom in that. Sometimes strength doesn't come from having the problem removed, but from finding the courage, peace, and faith to keep moving forward despite it.
I also love how this piece acknowledges the reality of heartbreak, illness, loss, and uncertainty while still leaving readers with hope. "You will make it" may seem like a simple message, but for someone carrying more than they were ever meant to carry alone, those words can mean everything.
A beautiful and encouraging Sunday reflection. ❤️🙏✨
